John Connolly was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1968 and has, at various points in his life, worked as a journalist, a barman, a local government official . He studied English in Trinity College, Dublin and journalism at Dublin City University, subsequently spending five years working as a freelance journalist for The Irish Times newspaper, to which he continues to contribute. He is based in Dublin but divides his time between his native city and the United States. This page is administered by John's assistant, Clair, on John's behalf.

She and her partner Denis Connolly, both architects by education, have developed an art practice centred on observer participation.

All John Connolly fans know to expect the unexpected But things in the little English town of Biddlecombe rarely run smoothly for long

All John Connolly fans know to expect the unexpected. He is a master of the supernatural, the dark twist, the creak of a door in the dark, of all creatures sinister. Connolly’s novels have been bestsellers world-wide. But things in the little English town of Biddlecombe rarely run smoothly for long. Shadows are gathering in the skies; a black heart of pure evil is bubbling with revenge; and it rather looks as if the Multiverse is about to come to an end, starting with Biddlecombe.

Established in 1932, Connolly Books is Ireland's oldest radical bookshop. A great spot in the City centre for radical books, music, magazines T-shirts and gifts unt for socialists & republicans to chill out and have a chat with like minded people. It's a veritable institution on the left in Dublin, an iconic and historic building. Connolly Books is more than just a Bookshop. If you haven't been there yet make it your business next time you're in town. I enjoyed visiting Connolly Books while I was in Dublin owledgeable people who work there.

The question of why and how so many bad people find their way into Parker's orbit has always been lurking in the background of his novels; why so many ghosts of victims point him the way to vengeful justice and why so good a man is so fond of his killer for hire friends Louis and Angel.
