Good Luck! 8-)
The book contains references to many images which are not part of my Kindle publication. So it does not have a lot of value as an educational references because it is hard to follow without seeing the illustrations. I found that some older books published on Kindle without images can overcome the lack of images by detailed descriptions, but this is not one of those.

I did find value in the book as a reminder of better times we live in. The author wrote paragraphs like this "this art may be of the highest or the most homely character" and "This should surely be the accomplishment of every woman though she may not have the skill to attain to the highest branches, it would at least enable her to decorate her home."

I read parts of it and the images would have added a !ot to the discussion. Do not recommend this book.
Hey, it was free. Free or cheaper is always good.
great book
This could be a really useful reference book except all of the illustrations are missing. The information very accessible and care has been taken to put this book together.
This book is a good historical reference to embroidery and tapestry. A good reproduction. I arrived well packaged and on time.
Of it had illustrations it might be useful
